The Bible includes books that challenge the Bible
The Torah and Prophets lay out a covenant: faithfulness brings blessing, sin brings punishment. Then Job and Ecclesiastes call that very system into question.

Job begins with a wager between God and 'the Accuser' to see if Job will stay faithful after losing everything. What starts as a test of one man becomes a trial of God's justice, and the book leaves the verdict to the reader.
