Not a prosperity gospel
It's tempting to read Haggai like a televangelist promising wealth to donors. That misses the deeper logic of his message.
Give the prophet a fair hearing.
Dig deeper
His point wasn't paying priests for blessings. It was that a community must act together without waiting for a king or a sign.
